Apecchio, in the Province of Pesaro e Urbino, is located about 90km west of Ancona and about 60km southwest of Pesaro. Apecchio is famous for to the Globe of Peace, which was until recently the world's largest rotating globe.

Corinaldo is a remarkably pretty fortified hill town, preserved with it's medieval history. It boasts some of the best-preserved 15th century defensive walls in the Marche, with along long stretches of the battlements from which to admire the sweeping views.

Montefiore dell'Aso is located 20km NW of San Benedetto del Tronto and 20 km south of Fermo, and has many famous local attractions of historical interest.

San Benedetto del Tronto is located in the southern Marche and, with over 7,000 palm trees on its wide promenade, it has a touch of tropical charm. It's an exciting, thriving town that doubles as one of the most important fishing ports on Italy's Adriatic coast.

The town of Santa Vittoria in Matenano is set at the foot of the hill, Matenano. Founded in the IXth century by Farfenses monks who constructed a castle and monastery. Among the many local festivals is the Canestrelle Festival, a delightful revival of old farmers' life with participants dressed in 1800's costumes.

Sarnano has a perfectly preserved medieval centre, thermal baths and shops for all your basic needs, served by people who go out of their way to be friendly and helpful.

Urbino is a World Heritage Site notable for a remarkable historical legacy of independent Renaissance culture. The town, nestled on a high sloping hillside, retains much of its picturesque medieval aspect. It's best known architectural piece is the Palazzo Ducale, rebuilt by Luciano Laurana.
