This means that Villa Pietra Alta's views are far reaching and breath taking, over the Gulf of Naples and also over the Gulf of Salerno. Villa Pietra Alta is in a great location, not overlooked; it is peacefully private and decorated to a high standard with a brand new kitchen amongst other recent enhancements. A gorgeously cool portico encircles two sides and the first floor is reached via a doorway from here. Quite apart from being a high standard property, we are delighted to have secured it because, most unusually for this area, it has a brand new swimming pool - very few are given planning permission. This private pool is kidney-shaped, furnished, and bordered by lawn with an illuminated garden. The garden also boasts a barbecue are for use by guests.
The main entrance of this villa is into a spacious hallway. Turning right leads onto a sitting/dining room with double aspect and French windows out onto the portico. The double aspect is shared by one of the two double bedrooms, which also has a fireplace and both have french windows onto the terrace. The dark wood kitchen is new, with hob, oven and fridge/freezer. There is a large bathroom with WC.
An exterior door allows access to a flight of steps leading to the first floor. This separate accommodation comprises of two double-bedded rooms, a shower room with WC and a small kitchen with hob, oven, fridge/freezer and breakfast table. Opposite the kitchen there is a spacious terrace with side views overlooking the pool.
Given the layout of this villa, it would be ideal for two families who require a certain level of privacy.
This villa is loacted close to a WWF protected pine forest, great for cool relaxing walks or shaded jogging for the more energetic.

The Amalfi Coast is a stunning and well known stretch of mountainous coastline south of Naples, in Campania. The southern end of the Bay of Naples stretches out in a steep and rocky peninsula that reaches towards the Isle of Capri. Sorrento, another major tourist destination, looks back towards Naples from the north coast of the peninsula. The southern side of the peninsula is dotted with picturesque villages and towns clinging giddily to cliffs; this is what is known as the Amalfi Coast.
Sorrento is situated on a plain above the sea, overlooking the Bay of Naples. The view from Sorrento stretches back to the north, encompassing Vesuvius, the city of Naples, and the island of Ischia. The town is exceedingly popular with tourists. It has a pretty old town, a harbour with ferry departures to Capri, Amalfi and Naples, and is within easy reach of the Amalfi Coast, Pompeii, Herculaneum and the city of Naples. There is some good walking in the peninsula, and plenty of restaurants and bars for the less energetic.
