A stay at Villa Serenella provides a completely unique experience. Classic, solid Italian furnishings prevail but, of course, all modern amenities have been installed. The villa benefits from a beautiful furnished garden with amazing views across Lake Como. There are separate living and dining rooms, each of which are decorated in a comfortable, traditional style and have fireplaces for a cosy, homely atmosphere in the winter months. The large kitchen also benefits from a fireplace, and is well-equipped with a seating area, cooker, oven, fridge, and dishwasher. The ground floor also has a laundry room and a shower room with WC.
The first floor has a single room with a mezzanine floor and ensuite bathroom. as well as a twin bedroom with wash basin and a transfixing view over the lake. This floor has a further two single rooms with lake views, one of which has a balcony on which to sit and watch the world go by. There is also a bathroom with hand shower and WC. The second floor has one more twin bedroom and one further single bedroom. There is also a bathroom with WC on the floor.
Please note: there is a midweek/final cleaning charge of 270 Euros payable locally, and a minimum two week rental in high season.
The location of Villa Serenella is exceptional. The frontage across lake Como from the furnished garden is absolutely mesmerizing. The villa is in the village of Laglio and so it is within walking distance of any holiday provisions you will need. Laglio is the perfect holiday destination for any golfer. There are 10 golf courses on this westerly side of the lake. It is also in the perfect location to explore some of the many towns, villages and restaurants surrounding the lake.
The house is not far north of the larger town of Como, which has much to offer, including a stunning 14th century cathedral surrounded by quaint arcaded streets. The journey to Como up the mountains behind the lake provides some incredible views.

Lake Como is one of the deepest lakes in Europe (400 meters deep). Shaped like an upside-down “Y”, is located in the Italian Lombardy region.
The northern branch begins at the town of Colico, while Lecco (a bigger industrialized town) is located on the south-eastern branch. The smaller towns of Bellagio, Menaggio, Tramezzo, Cadenabbia and Varenna are situated in the middle, and are the most popular resorts of the Lake.
Lake Garda, the largest lake in Italy, located between Venice and Milan, is an alpine region, accessible easily from the north via the Brenner pass. There are many holiday resorts like Sirmione, Desenzano, Riva, Gardone Riviera, and Malcesine.
If travelling with children, you will enjoy daytrips to Gardaland, an amusement park located between Bardolino and Peschiera.
