Villa Castelluzzo is surrounded by very well tended parkland - lush manicured lawns, firs, cypresses, lemon trees, and vividly coloured bougainvillea - discipline maintained by ordered lines of terracotta pots and vases.
Among its many high quality featurea are a heated indoor pool (available at a supplement of 50 Euros per day) with Jacuzzi, sauna, large furnished outdoor pool (measuring 17m x 7m x 3.5m x 1.2m deep), illuminated tennis court, air-conditioned upper floors, immaculate secluded grounds, and so the list goes on - this property simply exudes exclusivity.
The friendly owners have their own independent luxury house within the grounds and as their estate produces wine, olive oil and kiwi fruit they will also supply meals on request. Access is via electric gates and a private driveway leads to covered parking.
On the ground floor there is a living/dining room where the indoor heated pool and Jacuzzi are located. The living room also boasts plasma satellite TV, sliding doors to the grounds and there are steps up the shower area, complete with sauna for six people. Also on this floor is a room with a double sofa bed, a shower room with WC and one twin bedroom.
On the lower floor there is an equipped gym with ping-pong table and wall-to-wall mirror. There is also a garage with extra fridge, washing machine and ironing facilities. The first floor boasts a living room with doors to terraces and a compact but very well-equipped kitchen with an oven, 5 gas and 1 electric ring stove, dishwasher, sink and fridge. There is also a furnished, covered terrace overlooking the grounds, perfect for al fresco dining. The sleeping accommodation on this floor comprises of one double bedroom, one single bedroom and a bathroom with WC and Jacuzzi bath. The covered terrace has access into the shower room with WC and there is one attic double bedroom with furnished balcony.
Please note: electricity consumption is payable locally, on average a charge of 250 Euros per week. The ground floor bedrooms have ceiling fans and the upper floors have air-conditioning.
Lubriano is the nearest town, 3 kilometres away, Orvieto and Lake Bolsena are each about 16 kilometres distant. Hence we are perfectly placed on the Lazio/Umbria border with Assisi, Todi, Montepulciano and the undiscovered Maremma coastline all within easy reach for day excursions.
There are direct flights from the UK to Rome's two aiports: Leonardo da Vinci (Fiumicino) and Ciampino.
Fiumicino: flights depart from Heathrow with British Airways and Alitalia. You can fly from Gatwick with British Airways, and from Manchester with Jet2.
Ciampino: you can fly from Bristol, East Midlands, Newcastle and Gatwick with Easyjet, and from Glasgow, Liverpool, East Midlands, Luton, Stansted and Dublin with Ryanair.
