Apartment Sopra is our apartment in Residence Terra Rosa. This apartment is on the first floor of a two apartment building on the side of a hill and is reached down steps. There is a large inviting pool shared by the residents of twelve apartments. Below to one side is the cable car station, which transports visitors up to the town of Taormina.
Entrance to this apartment is straight into the bright, comfortable living/dining room. The kitchen has everything you need for a self-catering holiday, including a cooker and fridge. The sleeping accommodation comprises of one double bedroom and one twin bedroom. There is also a modern shower room with WC.
Modern furnishings have been installed and the living room and bedrooms have ceiling fans for added comfort. The apartment has a sea view balcony and a large terrace perfect for al fresco dining. Conveniently there is a laundry room on site, payable locally. There is also car parking within the residence at a cost of 6 Euros per day.
Please note: late arrivals after 22:30 hours are charged a 55 Euro supplement. There is a final cleaning charge of 55 Euros and a cot is available to hire at 50 Euros per week. All fees are payable locally.

It has fabulous views over the sea and Isola Bella below and there is a path to the water's edge. Below to one side, is the cable car station which transports visitors up to the town of Taormina.
For safety, the Greeks founded Taormina on a high plateau on Mount Tauro, BC, and the acropolis is at the summit. After its decline, the Byzantines reversed its fortunes, the Arabs destroyed it twice and then the Normans dominated the town in the 13th century. So imagine a slow walk through the town - there is simply so much to see.
Direct flights from the UK go to Palermo and Catania airports.
For Palermo, Easyjet flies from Gatwick and Ryanair from Stansted. Alitalia also flies from Heathrow.
From Gatwick you can take British Airways, Monarch and Thomson flights to Catania. From Manchester you can fly with Monarch and Thomas Cook.
Additionally, Ryanair fly from direct from Birmingham and Dublin to Trapani.
