This village dominates the Basento river valley. Noteworthy is the “Chiesa di San Pietro” (Church of St. Peter) with its square-shaped belfry whose interior is characterised by two irregular aisles. Within the church it is possible to admire a Baroque-style altar with interesting wrought-iron decorations dating from 1859 and an organ with an 18th-century inlaid wooden choir.
In Trivigigno as well as in the surrounding villages, typical mountainous agricultural activities are carried out. Animal breeding farms are widespread and it is also possible to pick mushrooms and wild strawberries within the woodland areas.
