Apecchio is famous for its truffles and in the town of Apecchio one of several important truffle fairs is held every October. Apecchio itself has a fossil museum and is home to Palazzo Ubaldini and other historical buildings. The town is also known for its mineral springs and is popular with tourists in the summer months.
